UEFA Europa League : Liverpool, West Ham win , Brighton defeated

Brighton vs AEK Athens
This was the first time Brighton will be playing in an European competition and have to return home empty handed as they were defeated by Athens 3-2.
The seagull’s were put straight on defense as Athens took the lead early in the 11th minute than a VAR decision was overturned when Joao Pedro was booked for diving later turned out to be a penalty , Pedro converted it but the seagull’s were again trailing before the halftime  as Athens took the lead and head to the half time with 2-1, after the break another penalty was awarded to Brighton but it was Ponce who stole the show with his late winner as Brighton first game in home results in an defeat.
West Ham Vs TSC Backa Tapola
After winning the Europa Conference League West ham have turned their focus on this years Europa League, West ham were given an initial scare by the likes of Peter Stanic when he opened the scoring on the night but Moyes men remained calmed and composed but it was own goal which brought the game to level before Mohammed Kudus scores and opened his accounts for West Ham, later Thomas Suchek doubled the lead to give West Ham a comfortable win.
LASK vs Liverpool FC
Liverpool are back in the Europa league after failing to qualify for the champions league as they faced LASK in the opening match of the Europa League it was an Initial scare for Liverpool as they went to half time trailing with a goal from Flecker, Liverpool came back strong in the 2nd half and were awarded a penalty which was converted by Darwin Nunez than Diaz scored the second for Liverpool pouching on to a cross by Ryan Gravenberch Mohammad Salah than came on and finished the game for Liverpool as they won 3-1 at LASK.
