India vs Australia Review : Shami takes 5 as India win the 1st ODI

India wins against Australia in the first ODI of the series where Mohammad Shami and Shubman Gill stole the show. 

Australia were first to bat on the pitch who started the game sloppy with a wicket of March in the initial overs of the game by Shami but Warner and Smith steadied the innings with a short partnership but the combined knock was broken by Ravinder Jadeja after Warner reaching his half century, regular wickets were taken by the Indians with Smith, Labuschagne and Green all getting a decent start by could not capitalized, in the end of the innings it was a strong and attacking display from Inglis, Stonnis and Cummins which helped Australia to reach a total of 276 were Mohammad Shami was the stand out bowler taking a 5 wicket haul.

The chase begun with an impressive partnership from Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shubman Gill with both scoring half centuries and getting a 142 runs stand  before get dismissed by Adam Zampa with some good spin bowling, Australia were back in the game but it was KL Rahul and Surya Kumar Yadav who brought the Indian closer to the winning number with a half centuries of their own, as KL Rahul remain unbeaten on 58 and finished the innings in style by hitting a six with a superb performance from Mohammad Shami and well calculated chase India wins a convincing 5 wicket win.Pressure on the Australia as Indian takes the lead in the ODI series.
