La Liga: Real Madrid defeated 3-1 by Atletico Madrid.

Real Madrid runs of six straight win comes to an end at Atletico Madrid  as they are defeated 3-1 at Wanda Metropolitano.

The game started with an early goal from Alvaro Morata in the 4th minute of the game by scoring a fine goal from Samuel Leno’s cross as Atletico took a early lead, the constant attack by Atletico paid of as Griezmann doubled the score and took a 2-0 lead, then Madrid pulled one back as a classic Tony Kroos goal from 35 yards makes it 2-1 but the relentless attacks from Atletico continues before Alvaro Morata Scoring a goal again and making 3-1 just before half time.

There was no last-minute heroics from Jude Bellingham and Real Madrid which took them off the top of the table to third place, It was a must-win game for Atletico Madrid as a defeat would mean 11 points difference between them and Real Madrid.

As of now Barcelona and Girona sits at the top of the table with Real Madrid on 3rd place position, Atletico are not far behind they are on fifth with 10 points and a game in hand. A lack of striker is haunting Madrid this season as Joselu is still unable to fire up at all fronts with Jude Bellingham being their top Scorer with 5 goals as there are no support from anyone else in the Real Madrid attacking side, Real Madrid looks to bounce back from this defeat as they hosts Los Palmas on Wednesday and Barcelona will face Mallorca Tuesday night and hope to extend their fine start of the season.
