Pakistan win by 82 runs against Netherlands as Netherlands impressed in there first game played in Rajiv Gandhi International stadium in Hyderabad.
The game began with a scare for Pakistan as Netherlands took three early wickets of Pakistan openers with Fakhar and Imam dismissed for 12 and 15 runs respectively, Babar Azam’s string of low runs continued as he was dismissed by Ackerman for just 5 runs than it was Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel who played a brilliant knock and got Pakistan out of a difficult situation with both scoring 68 runs as they got out after a fine knock soon after the Pakistan Middle order crumbled as none of the batsmen made a reasonable knock to take Pakistan to a massive total as Pakistan were restricted to 286 with Bas de Leede taking 4 key wickets for the Netherlands.
Netherlands began their chase with an early wicket of Max ODowd and Ackerman but it was Vikramjit Singh and Bas de Leede playing a good knock as both made half century this partnership was looking good and nearly started to scare some of the Pakistan fans but the strong bowling dismissed this partnership soon after none of the Netherlands player stayed long in their innings as they were bowled out for 205, Saud Shakeel was given the Man of the Match for his impressive knock of 68 runs.
Pakistan won their first match but they need runs from their top order particularly from Babar Azam to get into the top 4 as they face Sri Lanka in their next match
