SriLanka reached the Asia Cup finals with an impressive performance by them against Pakistan and Bangladesh with K.Mendis and S.Samarawickrama playing some important knocks and Pathirana impressing with the ball as he was the top wicket taker of the tournament, Wellagage to impressed a lot with his great all round ability with bat and bowl.
India on the other hand reached the finals comfortably with a game in hand as they beat Pakistan and Srilanka in the Super 4, there were lots of positives for the Indian team with there top order all contributing runs and KL Rahul who might have secured his No 4 spot for the world cup with his performance in the tournament.

Kuldeep Yadav was given the man of the series for his 9 wickets with Shubman Gill was the most run getter of the tournament with 302 runs.
